Born and raised in Central Illinois, Joel adopted the use of computers and technology at an early age. Fascination with technology, and how it can improve human lives has always kept him tuned into current and upcoming trends. Now, he is able to offer his experience and knowledge in IT to the small business community.

My passions fall into three categories:
Technology is what drives our world. Because of it, the world is flat, again. Because of computers and the internet, we (humans) are developing at the most rapid pace the world has ever seen. My first passion is technology, and more importantly, how it can help businesses increase their efficiencies, maximize sales, and grow their bottom line.
I’ve had the spirit of an entrepreneur ever since I was able to understand money. At the age of 12 I started selling items on eBay, the age of 14 I was mowing neighborhood lawns, and by the age of 16 I had my own business, ITWerks.
My third passion is financial markets, and in particular, the inefficiencies between certain markets. My aim is to develop a program or strategies that can capitalize on the inefficiencies, and pick up the difference as profit.
Rick is the owner of RMc Design. A native of the Chicago area, Rick moved to Central Illinois to attend Millikin University. After graduating from Millikin, Rick start his creative design business. He recruited Joel to help him with the technical aspects of web design. The rest is history.
